SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) is a critical SAP ERP module that manages the selling, distributing, and billing of products. SAP MM and SAP PP are intimately connected with this module. SAP SD sub-modules include Customer and Vendor Master Data, Sales, Delivery, Billing, Pricing, and Credit Management.

SD’s integration with other modules:

SD is an SAP module that works in conjunction with the company’s other essential modules, such as FI and MM.

SD-MM:- When we make sales orders in SD, the SD MM integration works. All of the information for the sales order is taken directly from MM (Material Management). It also includes information such as the product’s price or MRP, availability, shipment point determination, specifics about the sales area to which the item in the sales order relates, and so on.

SD-FI:- Goods move from one location to another with each delivery movement related to the sales order. This affects both the GL account and Finance. Debit and credit notes, product invoices, and other documents are included. These are also worth noting in the SAP FI module. With the use of SD’s FI Integration, these data are retrieved from the device itself.
